LaVa is strictly for adults. Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account, and partner age preferences cannot be set below 18. Anyone under 18 is never shown or matched.
Every user provides a date of birth during sign-up. Accounts with a birthday indicating an age under 18 cannot complete registration. Optional selfie identity verification further confirms authenticity.
Before uploading photos, every user confirms that they and every person in their content are 18+, that explicit consent was obtained, and that the content contains no illegal, abusive or exploitative material.
We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, or any sexualisation or exploitation of minors. Such content is removed immediately and the accounts involved are permanently banned.
Every profile, photo and message can be reported in-app. Dedicated child-safety categories (suspected minor, CSAM, grooming, unwanted contact with minors) are automatically treated as urgent and reviewed with top priority. You can also contact support@lavadating.app.
Urgent child-safety reports are flagged for law-enforcement referral. We preserve relevant evidence and cooperate fully with national police, child protection authorities and Europol. In an emergency, call 112.
